A Persian Nanaj rug originates from Hamadan, one of the most renowned rug weaving areas in Persia. Surrounded by over 300 rug-producing villages, Hamadan is home to several high-quality rugs. Nanaj rugs are characterised by geometric designs and are made with a relatively thick and durable woolen pile, ensuring they can withstand heavy use while maintaining their beauty.
